Sophie's House is the ideal accommodation for the family or couple who want a few days of relaxation at the Lake. It is a 3min walk from the lake, with beach and bike path, and about a 10/12min walk from Arona station, which is directly connected to Milan.
WARNING: Because the house is located on a main street, convenient to all services, it is NOT isolated and quiet like a small house in the country, it is on a main road and there may be noise related to the road.Â
The house consists of a large living room with a 3-seater sofa bed, a 43-inch Samsung Smart TV and a comfortable dining/working table that seats 6. Communicating with the living room is a fully equipped kitchen, in which there is also a microwave oven and a coffee pod machine; of course there are all the necessary dishes.
There is an ante-bathroom with a coat rack, and after this, there is the bathroom and bedroom. The bathroom is spacious and bright with a very large shower with a glass wall. The bedroom consists of a double bed and a bunk bed in which there are the two single beds, the room is the widest room in the house so you can sleep well.
Guests have the entire apartment at their disposal, possibly also the front part where there is a small corner of lawn for the needs of any four-legged friends. At the back of the house, also available to guests is a covered porch and finally a large garden with synthetic lawn, umbrella and outdoor sitting area.Â
You can park your motorcycle or car inside with no problem as long as it does not exceed the size of a citycar, this is only because the driveway is 2m wide and it would be best to avoid large cars.

3-4 minute walk to the lake, with beach, lawn, bike path a Ping pong table and a maxi chess board
3-4 minutes walk to two large supermarkets
12-15 minutes' walk is Arona station, which is directly connected to Milan
7-8 minute walk there is a bike and electric bike rental
1 minute walk, practically in front of the house, there is a bar/tobacco shop
A 20-minute walk takes you to the central streets of Arona where you can shop or wander around downtown
There is also a gluten-free bakery 5 minutes from home
Arona also is an excellent starting point to get to Meina, Stresa or other villages on the lake.
How to move
There is a large number of free roadside parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the house.
Sophie's House is the ideal place to spend relaxing days alone, as a couple or with family. The location of the house is strategic, just a few minutes' walk from Lake Maggiore, but also from supermarkets and services.
